"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" will be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) release of 2023 and the start of Phase Five.
The film is directed by Peyton Reed, who also directed the first two "Ant-Man" films.
The plot of "Quantumania" is currently unknown, though it is expected to involve time travel and the character of Kang the Conqueror.
Jonathan Major will play the villainous Kang the Conqueror in the film.
The cast includes Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfieffer.
Kathryn Newton will play Cassie Lang, who will use Pym technology and have her own superhero suit in the film.
Cassie's superhero name in the MCU may be "Cassie," though fans hope it will be "Stinger" by the end of the film.
Newton is expected to become a recurring presence in the MCU and potentially appear in a "Young Avengers" movie.
The film's title, "Quantumania," likely refers to the Quantum Realm, a subatomic dimension that has played a key role in the "Ant-Man" films and was briefly seen in "Avengers: Endgame."
"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" will be released on February 17, 2023.
