The telemarketing scheme involved selling false business services that were meant to scam victims into buying additional useless products.

Many of the victims were over 55 and some reported losing tens of thousands of dollars.

Shah tried to cover up her involvement in the scheme by telling others to lie and delete text messages, moving businesses and bank accounts under other people's names, and moving some of her operations to Kosovo.

Jen Shah pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in July.

Jen Shah's sentencing was attended by Andy Cohen, an executive producer of "The Real Housewives" franchise, and several other cast members from the show.

Jen Shah's lawyers argued that the show was "a semi-scripted, heavily edited facsimile of 'reality'" and did not accurately reflect Shah's feelings about the case.
