The dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was walking Lady Gaga’s three French bulldogs on February 24, 2021 when he was accosted and shot. The attackers fled and stole two of the dogs, Koji and Gustav

According to a court complaint, Jackson was one of three guys who were searching for bulldogs while driving around Los Angeles in February 2021 when they spotted Fischer with Lady Gaga's dogs.

According to the complaint, two of the guys jumped out of the car and started to choke and strike Fischer as the victim fought back. The dog walker was subsequently shot by one of the men, and the group left with the two dogs.

Despite being seriously hurt, Fischer managed to survive the attack, according to CNN. The lost pets were eventually found when the celebrity offered a $500,000 bounty.

The DA's office stated, "The plea agreement holds Mr. Jackson accountable for committing a cold-blooded brutal act and gives justice for our victim." Jackson was unintentionally freed from detention in April as a result of what authorities called "a clerical error," but he was later discovered and returned to custody in August.
